Job summary

Anthropic, a leader in steerable AI, seeks a Pre-Sales Architect for the Applied AI team. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding national security and defense clients through Claude adoption from discovery to deployment, architecting scalable solutions, and ensuring safety and reliability across deployments.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to craft evaluations, demonstrations, and architectures that maximize Claude’s value while maintaining security standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
• Experience with enterprise customers and complex buying cycles.
• Strong ability to translate customer requirements into technical architectures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with account executives to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Serve as primary technical advisor through Claude adoption journey from discovery to deployment.
• Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise.
• Create technical content for engineers and executives and communicate value of Claude.
• Guide architecture decisions and integrate Claude into customer tech stacks.
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude’s performance.
• Identify common integration patterns and share insights with Product/Engineering.
• Travel to customer sites for workshops and deep dives.
• Stay updated on latest LLM developments and implementation patterns.
