Job summary

Thornton Automotive Group is seeking a motivated Pre-Owned Automotive Sales Professional to guide customers through the purchase of quality vehicles from first contact to final delivery.

You'll present pre-owned vehicles, discuss trade-ins and financing options, and work with the finance and service teams to ensure a seamless, high‑satisfaction experience. Prior automotive sales experience is preferred, but motivated newcomers will be considered.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive sales experience preferred; motivated newcomers will be considered.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with a results-driven mindset.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers on the lot and in the showroom, understanding their needs and budget
• Present and demonstrate pre-owned vehicles to prospective buyers
• Guide customers through the full sales process, including trade-in appraisals and financing options
• Follow up with leads and past customers to drive repeat and referral business
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores
• Collaborate with the finance and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
