Thornton Automotive Dover is seeking a motivated Pre-Owned Automotive Sales Professional to guide customers through the purchase process from first contact to final delivery. You will build trust and cultivate long-term relationships that encourage repeat business.

The role involves greeting customers, presenting vehicles, handling trade-ins and financing options, and coordinating with finance and service teams to ensure a seamless experience. Weekend/evening availability is required.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive sales experience preferred; motivated newcomers will be considered.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter with a results-driven mindset.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers on the lot and in the showroom, understanding their needs and budget
• Present and demonstrate pre-owned vehicles to prospective buyers
• Guide customers through the full sales process, including trade-in appraisals and financing options
• Follow up with leads and past customers to drive repeat and referral business
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores
• Collaborate with the finance and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
