Job summary

Physician Partners of America seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Pre-Op/PACU coverage in Orlando, FL. The RN will assess patients, ensure informed consent, and monitor responses to medications, coordinating with physicians and care teams.

Responsibilities include documenting data, updating treatment plans, and maintaining licensure. Strong English communication and ACLS/BCLS credentials are required; ASC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
• Active State RN License.
• ASC experience preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Competence in medication administration.
• Attendance at staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial physiological needs assessment on all patients on admission/Discharge.
• Ensure operative and informed consents are signed and correct.
• Identify patients’ symptoms and changes and take appropriate timely action.
• Observe changes due to medications and document.
• Maintain awareness of patient status and document data for providers.
• Interpret and implement physician orders; perform treatments per standards.
