• Assess and prepare patients for surgery in the Pre-Operative area.
• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU, ensuring stable vitals and managing pain.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely according to ASC policies.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery expectations.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform Crash Cart and environmental check offs.
• Complete PAT calls and coordinate patient schedule.
• Organize medication room and verify adequate medications are available for cases.
