Job summary

Physician Partners of America is seeking a dedicated PreOp PACU Registered Nurse (RN) in Orange Park, FL. You will provide nursing care in both preoperative and PACU settings, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, and experience in perioperative nursing. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff to deliver quality patient care and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license required.
• Experience in PreOp and PACU preferred.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the preoperative area, preparing patients for surgery and documenting assessments.
• Monitor PACU patients post-anesthesia, assess vital signs, manage pain, and address complications.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists and team for smooth transitions between surgical phases.
