Physician Partners of America seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-OP/PACU care in a surgical ASC setting in Jacksonville, FL. The RN provides patient care through the nursing process, supervises staff, and upholds the Center’s philosophy and mission under the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include pre-admission assessments, consent verification, medication-related monitoring, and timely actions for patient changes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active license.
• Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
• ASC experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform initial physiological needs assessment on all patients on admission/Discharge.
• Ensure operative and informed consents are signed and correct.
• Identify patients’ symptoms and changes and take appropriate timely action.
• Observe behavioral and physiologic changes due to medications, take appropriate actions and document.
• Maintain awareness of the status of assigned patients and communicate data to physicians and care team.
• Interpret and implement physician’s orders; perform treatments and document results.
