Job summary

LAKEVIEW SURGERY CENTER is seeking a PRN RN PreOp in Orlando, FL. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge within the Pre-Op and PACU settings.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required by ASC patient age. Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork are essential to ensure safe perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Florida (RN) and active BLS/ACLS (PALS if required)
• Experience in pre-op and PACU settings preferred
• Ability to perform preoperative assessments and post-operative follow-ups
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and clinical teams

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout perioperative care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charting.
• Initiate IV access and administer pre-operative medications as ordered.
