Job summary

Physician Partners of America is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre-OP/PACU in Tampa, FL to deliver patient care through the nursing process and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role involves assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, collaboration with physicians and care teams, and supervision of ASC staff. Active FL RN license, BLS/ACLS, and ASC experience preferred. Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active RN license.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• ASC experience preferred and able to supervise staff when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Pre-OP and PACU using the nursing process.
• Assess patients on admission/discharge and document findings.
• Interpret and implement physician orders and evaluate treatments.
• Maintain awareness of patient status and communicate with the care team.
• Supervise and guide staff under supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure informed consents are signed and correct.
