Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license is required.
• Experience in PreOp and PACU nursing.
• BLS/ACLS certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery with preoperative assessments and histories.
• Monitor vital signs and condition in post-anesthesia recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on pre/postoperative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records per healthcare regulations.
• Respond to needs and emergencies in PreOp/PACU.
• Function as Pharmacy Nurse ensuring medication organization.
• Perform crash cart checks and environmental rounding.
