Job summary

Physician Partners of America, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pre-Op and PACU to provide patient care through the nursing process in a surgical center setting in Wesley Chapel, FL.

The RN will perform assessments, obtain consent verification, monitor patients post/anesthesia, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient recovery and discharge planning. Current FL RN license and BCLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and active state RN license.
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and patient rights.
• Ability to read and communicate in English; ACLS/BCLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial physiological needs assessment on admission/discharge.
• Ensure operative and informed consents are signed and correct.
• Monitor patients post-anesthesia and document changes.
• Administer medications and interpret physician orders.
• Maintain age-appropriate patient care and safety.
