Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. in Topeka, KS is seeking a Technician- Food Quality Assurance - 1st shift (Pre-Op 3:30am - noon) to monitor process control points and document any food safety or quality issues for corrective actions.

This on-site role requires attention to detail and strong documentation skills. The position supports HACCP plans, GMPs, and other quality programs, with opportunities to grow within a family-owned leading producer of deli salads and prepared foods.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1+ year QA experience required.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency required.
• Basic GMP and safety knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and reports food safety/quality issues and helps determine corrective actions.
• Assist with pre-operational inspection of production plant and equipment.
• Perform process verification checks at critical food safety and quality points.
• Participate in determination of corrective actions when checks do not meet limits.
• Verify facility environment including temperature and sanitizer concentrations.
• Complete Hold Tags and Cooling Tags to isolate non-conforming ingredients or products.
• Conduct and document daily product review and evaluate sensory attributes of finished products.
• Maintain records and documentation following protocols.
• Adhere to HACCP plans and related programs.
• Monitor CCPs and be trained in HACCP as needed.
