Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods - Crossroads Salad Plant in Topeka, KS is seeking a QA Supervisor to train QA Technicians and oversee internal food safety and quality systems. You will verify programs, validate corrective actions, and lead a team ensuring compliance with HACCP, SQF PCQI, and internal standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. or A.A. in Food Science/Technology, Microbiology or related field, or at least 3 years QA experience.
• Supervisory experience with leadership and problem-solving.
• Clear communication with all levels of staff and management.
• Proficient in e-mail, Word, Excel; LX and PKMS helpful.
• HACCP, SQF PCQI and Internal Auditor certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assists in hiring/training QA Technicians; schedules overtime and coverage.
• Reviews CCP monitoring and Pre-shipment records; verifies corrective actions.
• Coordinates corrective and preventive actions for CCP deviations.
• Manages department programs and verifications of adherence.
• Assists with new product launches; tests batches and tracks data.
• Investigates issues with quality tools and root-cause analysis; implements actions.
• Attends monthly Safety / Food Safety trainings and other sessions.
