Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods in Topeka, KS is seeking a Seasonal Temp - Food Quality Assurance Technician for 3rd shift to monitor key process control points during production. You will document and report food safety or quality issues and participate in corrective actions.

The role requires an associate degree in a science-related field or 1+ year QA experience, knowledge of GMPs and HACCP, and basic computer skills including Excel. Overtime and weekend scheduling may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a science-related field or 1+ year QA experience.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and safety requirements.
• English literacy for documentation and labels is required.
• Basic computer skills including email, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Document and report food safety and quality issues and assist with corrective actions.
• Assist with pre-operational inspection of plant and equipment and related documentation.
• Perform process verification checks at critical food safety and quality points.
• Participate in corrective actions when verification checks do not meet limits.
• Verify environment including temperature and sanitizer concentrations.
• Maintain records and proper documentation following protocols.
