Job summary

SCI seeks a Pre-Planning Service Advisor (PPSA) to sell pre-need arrangements and services, while serving families with professionalism and compassion. The role emphasizes prospecting, referrals, and community outreach to secure ongoing relationships.

The PPSA will work with funeral staff, manage client inquiries, and adapt schedules including evenings and weekends to meet targets and deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of college or equivalent experience.
• Sales or industry experience preferred.
• CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: network and build referrals for both at-need and pre-need arrangements; present planning guides to families; track activity and results; flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Build Relationships with Families: establish and maintain trust, respond to inquiries, assist families in times of grief, provide value through tailored solutions.
• Teamwork: collaborate with Funeral Directors and staff to ensure seamless service; coordinate approach from at-need to aftercare; prepare for ongoing support visits.
