Job summary

Anderson Injury Lawyers in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Pre-Litigation Team Manager to lead the team moving cases from intake through settlement, ensuring timeliness and quality across a high-volume practice.

You will supervise case managers and assistants, coach on performance, implement SOPs for treatment, demand packages, liens, and settlements, monitor KPIs, and roll out process improvements with leadership. Experience with Filevine is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in personal injury case management.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of the pre-litigation lifecycle: treatment, demand, negotiation, and disbursement.
• Experience with Filevine or comparable case management software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of case managers and assistants handling pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
• Monitor caseloads, case aging, and file quality to identify bottlenecks and keep cases moving toward timely resolution.
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular one-on-ones, coaching, and formal reviews.
• Own and enforce standard operating procedures for treatment monitoring, demand packages, lien resolution, and settlement handoff.
• Track team KPIs and report on performance to firm leadership.
• Audit case files with Filevine to ensure accuracy and audit-readiness.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training for new pre-litigation staff.
• Help identify and roll out process improvements as the team grows.

About the Role

The Pre-Litigation Team Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of our pre-litigation case teams — case managers and case manager assistants — ensuring cases move efficiently through treatment, demand preparation, and settlement. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands both the people side of management and the operational rigor required to run a high-volume pre-litigation caseload.

What You'll Do

• Manage and develop a team of case managers and case manager assistants handling pre-litigation personal injury cases from intake through settlement
• Monitor caseloads, case aging, and file quality to identify bottlenecks and keep cases moving toward timely
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular one-on-ones, coaching, and formal performance reviews
• Own and enforce standard operating procedures for treatment monitoring, demand packages, lien resolution, and settlement handoff
• Track team KPIs and report on team performance to firm leadership
• Use Filevine to audit case files, monitor task completion, and ensure documentation is accurate and audit-ready
• Handle escalations — client concerns, medical provider issues, and internal roadblocks — quickly and professionally
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training for new pre-litigation staff
• Help identify and roll out process improvements as the team and caseload grow

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in personal injury case management, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Strong working knowledge of the pre-litigation lifecycle: treatment, demand, negotiation, and disbursement
• Experience with Filevine or comparable case management software strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and hold a team accountable to performance standards
• Excellent organizational skills and comfort managing a high-volume, deadline-driven caseload
• Clear, direct communication style — with clients, attorneys, and your team
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in personal injury case management will be considered in lieu of a degree
