Job summary

Whitley Law Firm is seeking an experienced Case Manager for the Pre-Litigation team to manage a large Personal Injury caseload from inception through resolution with guidance from Pre-Litigation Managers and Attorneys.

This full-time role emphasizes client service, organization, and collaboration with healthcare providers, insurance adjusters, and attorneys. After a 90-day training period, one remote day per week is permitted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a personal injury law firm as a case manager or similar.
• Prior legal experience handling a large caseload in litigation or pre-litigation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, legal research databases, medical lien portals, and case management software such as Jove, Filevine.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and organize over 120 personal injury cases, while providing comprehensive support to clients navigating bodily injury and property damage claims.
• Maintain active caseloads by conducting monthly client calls to gather treatment updates and address concerns while closely monitoring medical treatment progress.
• Identify and prioritize cases across various stages of the claims process to ensure timely resolution.
• Establish and follow through on insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, healthcare providers, insurance adjusters, and government officials to facilitate case progress and resolution.
• Identify potential claim issues and collaborate with Pre-Litigation Managers or Attorneys to address them effectively.
• Oversee the preparation and summary of medical records to support case development.
• Compile and submit comprehensive settlement packages (demands) to insurance companies for resolution.
