Lloyd Baker Injury Attorneys in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Pre-Litigation Case Manager to handle cases from initial signup through demand. This role requires strong organization, client communication, and proactive case management.

You will coordinate medical records, manage deadlines, and work with attorneys and insurers to move claims efficiently. Hybrid work option may be available; relocation not offered; must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor deadlines and proactively address delays.
• Prepare settlement demand packages for attorney review.
• Maintain accurate case records and collaborate with attorneys and staff.
• Meet KPIs for communication, productivity, and case movement.
• Provide empathetic client service while moving cases efficiently.

• A hybrid work schedule may be available for candidates with a home office setup.
• The firm pays 100% of the employee’s medical insurance premium. Eligible dependents may be added at the employee’s expense.
• Dental and vision insurance are available through separate enrollment for employees and eligible dependents.
• PTO increases with tenure, starting at 5 days after 90 days and growing to 15 days after 3 years, plus a birthday day off after your first year.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases from post-sign-up through demand.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and lienholders.
• Coordinate medical treatment and obtain medical records, bills, police reports, and insurance documentation.
• Identify available insurance coverage and resolve liability, treatment, or documentation issues.
• Monitor deadlines, track case progress, and proactively address delays.
• Prepare settlement demand packages for attorney review.
• Maintain accurate case records and collaborate with attorneys and support staff.
• Escalate legal questions and meet established KPIs for communication, productivity, quality, and case movement.
• Provide empathetic client service while keeping cases moving efficiently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
• Proactive problem-solving, accountability, and follow-through.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Bonus Experience

• Experience in a high-volume personal injury practice, managing cases through demand.
• Knowledge of insurance coverage, UM/UIM, medical payments, health insurance liens, medical records, and settlement procedures.
• Experience drafting demands and communicating with adjusters and medical providers.
• Familiarity with Filevine or other legal case management systems.
• Experience with KPIs, productivity metrics, and AI-based legal tools.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
• Experience adapting to processes and technology in a growing firm.
