Job summary

Putzmeister in Sturtevant, WI is seeking a Pre-Delivery Technician to assist with final inspections of large and small lines, chassis, and rework confirmations. This role requires hands-on testing, documentation, and basic tool use in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing or 1–3 years with hydraulic experience, an understanding of the metric system, ability to read hydraulic schematics, and a minimum Class B CDL (training available).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years manufacturing, mechanical, inspection experience or 1-3 years hydraulic experience.
• Able to understand and use Metric system.
• Able to read hydraulic schematics.
• Must have own set of basic hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL required – minimum Class B (will train for this if necessary).
• Mandatory safety training (Total Compliance Management) program.

Responsibilities

• Final inspection of Large Line (CP’s and TB’s), Small Line (TK’s and MM’s), incoming chassis, and rework confirmation.
• Install test instruments (test fixtures, gauges, flow meters) using basic hand tools.
• Complete required test documentation.
• Trouble shoot hydraulic system and components.
• Prepare rework reports for Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Manager.
• Weighing and road testing of truck mounted machines.
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
