Job summary

Putzmeister is seeking a Pre-Delivery Technician in Sturtevant, WI for a full-time regular direct position. The role focuses on final inspection, testing instrumentation, and rework documentation for truck-mounted equipment.

Qualifications include 3-5 years in manufacturing or hydraulic experience, a High School diploma or equivalent, and a Class B CDL (or willingness to train). Physical demands include lifting up to 70 pounds and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years manufacturing, mechanical, inspection experience or 1-3 years hydraulic experience.
• Able to understand and use Metric system.
• Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics.
• Must have own set of basic hand tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – minimum Class B.

Responsibilities

• Assist final inspection of Large Line (CP’s and TB’s), Small Line (TK’s and MM’s), incoming chassis, and rework confirmation.
• Install test instruments (test fixtures, gauges, flow meters) using basic hand tools; complete required test documentation.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic system and components.
• Final inspection of all newly manufactured product.
• Prepare rework reports for Manufacturing and QA Manager.
• Weighing and road testing of truck mounted machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
