Jobot is seeking a Pre Construction Manager in Frisco, TX to lead all preconstruction activities for commercial projects, develop estimates and budgets, and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants during planning and design.

You will identify new project opportunities in the Dallas–Fort Worth market, support business development, and mentor junior staff while advancing value engineering and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

• 3 Tilt Wall projects experience required in candidate background.

• Develop conceptual estimates, detailed budgets, GMPs, and cost models.

• Review drawings and specs for scope and risk.
• Lead constructability reviews and recommendations during design development.
• Track market trends and material pricing for budgeting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations, PM, and Leadership; assist in growth initiatives.

Job Details

• Lead all preconstruction activities from concept through project turnover
• Develop conceptual estimates, detailed budgets, GMPs, and cost models for commercial construction projects
• Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants during project planning and design phases
• Identify opportunities to pursue and win new projects within the Dallas-Fort Worth market
• Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, interviews, presentations, and proposal development
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with owners, developers, architects, and industry partners
• Develop and execute value engineering strategies to maximize project value and cost efficiency
• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents for scope completeness and risk identification
• Perform constructability reviews and provide recommendations during design development
• Track market trends, labor conditions, and material pricing to ensure accurate budgeting
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Project Management, and Executive Leadership teams
• Lead project handoff meetings to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to operations
• Assist in strategic growth initiatives and market expansion efforts
• Mentor junior estimators and preconstruction staff as needed
