Job summary

Jobot in Frisco, TX is hiring a Safety Manager to lead company-wide construction safety programs across industrial and tilt-wall projects. You will conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and training to ensure OSHA and local compliance, while developing site-specific safety plans and tracking safety metrics.

The role requires coaching superintendents and project managers, managing OSHA logs, and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement on high-profile Texas projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide construction safety initiatives and programs
• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Ensure OSHA and all federal/state/local safety regs compliance
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns; recommend actions
• Conduct safety orientations and ongoing training for employees and subs
• Coach Superintendents and Project Managers on safety best practices
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and compliance
• Maintain OSHA logs and safety records
• Identify hazards and implement corrective measures before incidents
• Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, training sessions
• Track and report safety metrics and KPIs
• Support project teams during preconstruction and planning
• Assist with insurance, compliance, and workers' comp matters
• Promote accountability and continuous improvement and engagement
