Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates for industrial and warehouse construction projects.
• Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges.
• Create conceptual, schematic, and design development estimates to support preconstruction activities.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure design efficiency and constructability.
• Review plans for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to industrial and warehouse construction standards.
• Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize project design and costs.
• Prepare and distribute comprehensive bid packages to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate and analyze bids from subcontractors and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and subcontracts with suppliers and contractors.
• Provide oversight and mentorship to the preconstruction team.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Estimating, and Operations teams on project approach and deliverables.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and project management.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks specific to industrial and warehouse construction.
• Monitor design scope for changes affecting budget and/or schedule.

We are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our design-build construction firm specializing in industrial and warehouse projects. The ideal candidate will lead our preconstruction efforts, ensuring seamless project planning and execution from concept to construction.
