Job summary

MYR Energy Services seeks a Pre-Construction Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering of EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects nationwide from bidding to closeout. This role includes support for owner design reviews, construction, startup, and final as-built documents.

We require 7+ years in design/engineering or project management, a PE license, and a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in design, engineering, or project management for electrical, transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• PE license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects nationwide from bidding to closeout.
• Coordinate design subcontractors and engineering field liaison activities.
• Interface with vendors and procurement; prepare engineering and equipment procurement requirements.
• Schedule day-to-day engineering subcontractor and equipment procurement activities with Project Executive/Manager.
• Manage testing and commissioning contractor for EPC projects.
