MYR Energy Services, a nationwide EPC contractor, seeks a Pre-Construction Engineering Manager to oversee electrical substation, transmission, and distribution design from bidding through closeout. You will supervise design teams, coordinate vendor procurements, and interface with owners during reviews and startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 7+ years of design, engineering, or project management experience on electrical, transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• Experience managing project teams or consultants is a plus.
• Construction or EPC project experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Understand and prepare proposals for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Manage and coordinate design engineering subcontractors and field liaison activities.
• Coordinate equipment procurement activities and interface with vendors.
• Prepare engineering and equipment procurement requirements for the project.
• Schedule day-to-day engineering subcontractor and procurement activities with Project Exec/PM.
• Manage testing and commissioning contractor for EPC projects.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
• Maintain compliance with the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
