You will review loan files for accuracy and investor compliance, working with loan officers, processors, and title companies to resolve discrepancies before funding.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough pre-closing audit reviews of loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with loan conditions and investor guidelines.
• Review and analyze loan documents including Title Commitments, Homeowner’s Insurance, Appraisals, and Settlement Statements to confirm requirements are met.
• Calculate and verify prepaid interest, loan fees, closing costs, and wire amounts for accuracy prior to funding.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies or outstanding conditions to the team promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with processors, closers, underwriters, and management to resolve issues and keep loans on track for timely closing.
• Enter and maintain accurate loan data across internal systems.
• Adapt to changing loan guidelines, investor requirements, and internal processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
