Qualifications

• 1–2 years of auditing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and root causes in loan file data.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan documents, compliance regulations, and post-closing procedures.
• Proficiency in Windows and Encompass (Encompass preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough post-closing reviews of mortgage loan files to ensure compliance with regulatory, investor, and company standards.
• Accurately identify, document, and categorize any discrepancies or defects found during the audit process.
• Adhere to established auditing guidelines, investor requirements, and internal policies.
