Merchants Mortgage & Trust Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Closing Auditor/Reviewer to join our Loan Operations team in Colorado. You will review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and investor compliance prior to funding.

Responsibilities include analyzing Title Commitments, Homeowners Insurance, Appraisals, and Settlement Statements, calculating prepaid interest and closing costs, and identifying discrepancies with processors, underwriters, and title companies to ensure timely

• Strong organizational skills with multitasking and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Ability to learn loan origination and document management systems.

• Willingness to adapt to changing guidelines and processes.

Responsabilités

• Perform thorough pre-closing audit reviews of loan files for completeness and compliance.
• Review Title Commitments, Homeowners Insurance, Appraisals, and Settlement Statements.
• Calculate and verify prepaid interest, loan fees, closing costs, and wire amounts.
• Identify discrepancies or outstanding conditions and communicate them promptly.
• Collaborate with processors, closers, underwriters, and management to resolve issues.
• Enter and maintain accurate loan data across internal systems.
• Adapt to changing loan guidelines and investor requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations.
