Job summary

Tufts University in Boston seeks an experienced educator to support the Office of Educational Affairs. You will manage pre-clerkship courses, coordinate with course directors, ensure timely posting of materials, and archive content to meet accreditation standards.

You will also help schedule courses, manage exams, and collaborate with Educational Media, CANVAS, and other offices to deliver high-quality curricula for medical students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of relevant experience in higher education, healthcare, or curriculum delivery
• Passion for working with students
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Microsoft Office Suite and/or learning management system familiarity

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-clerkship medical school courses and collaborate with course directors and staff
• Ensure course materials are received and posted in a timely manner for students
• Review and edit materials to meet educational standards
• Create and distribute small group assignments for active learning
• Interface with Educational Media, Library, CANVAS, and other offices
• Support students and faculty with questions related to the pre-clerkship curriculum
• Archive educational materials in accordance with accreditation standards
• Manage academic schedules for the pre-clerkship program
• Schedule courses with regulations in mind and enter schedules into LMS
• Book rooms and educational spaces for sessions
• Coordinate with Evaluation and Assessment to ensure exams are developed and delivered
• Assist with exam delivery and proctoring as needed
• Participate in working groups or task forces related to curriculum
• Contribute to updating of OEA policies and manuals
• Communicate with TUSM offices about curriculum logistics
• Help develop monthly office days and quarterly team-building activities
