Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking a registered nurse to provide pre-screening for surgeries and high-quality pre- and post-operative care. You will plan, implement and evaluate care plans while coordinating discharge needs with the care team.

Expect 1–3 years RN experience, BSN preferred, and active RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS needed within 6 months. Comprehensive benefits and a supportive, patient-centered culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• 1–3 years RN experience; orthopedic, neurosurgical, pain management experience preferred.
• Current state RN license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS within 6 months.

• Provide pre-surgical pre-screening and nursing assessments.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with discharge planning.
• Administer medications per age-specific guidelines.
