Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of Optum, seeks a highly organized Manager of Practice Performance and Optimization to improve scheduling and operational performance across primary care sites. Reporting to the Regional Director, this role will analyze performance data, develop and maintain schedule templates, and coach managers to drive consistent execution of goals on-site.

The role requires travel within CT up to 75% and a proven track record in medical practice management, with Epic scheduling

Qualifications

• 2+ years of medical practice management or Clinical Practice performance.
• Proven solid understanding of clinician scheduling practices in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in Epic scheduling software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel within CT 75% or more.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drive alignment and consistent execution of priorities across locations.
• Audit and analyze performance and scheduling metrics to identify trends and gaps.
• Develop and maintain primary care schedule templates for departments.
• Support managers to address process and workflow issues and action plans.
• Adjust schedule templates based on requests with approvals.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand scheduling needs.
• Promote team communication and engagement through huddles and meetings.
• Coach and mentor site staff and managers in performance.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and evaluation of staff.
• Conduct on-site observations and deliver insights for regional leadership.
