Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee a multi-site practice in Connecticut. You will collaborate with physician leadership and corporate teams to develop and execute business plans and budgets, driving profitability and service quality across the network.

The role focuses on refining workflows, optimizing resources, and guiding staff and providers to deliver high-quality care with efficiency, supporting growth and regional expansion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 3–5 years of medical practice management experience, preferably multi-site.
• Epic Experience preferred.
• Experience leading physicians and providing business leadership to physicians.
• Ability to refine, reorganize or redirect workflow to optimize resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all activities of the assigned operational practice and provides leadership to staff and providers.
• Drives development and execution of short- and long-term business plans and budgets with physician leadership and corporate administration.
• Executes business plans by assigning accountability, monitoring progress, and addressing obstacles.
• Continuously identifies ways to increase profitability and implement cost-effective strategies for the department.
• Continuously identifies and optimizes workflow to maximize productivity and quality service.
• Analyzes data reports and acts on significant trends affecting department effectiveness.
• Finds opportunities to grow the business through referrals, new or expanded services, or regional expansion.
• Drives improvement efforts through staff and provider involvement and clear communication.
