Job summary

Kintegra Health is seeking a Practice Manager II to lead a physician network office at one site, or two sites with 2–3 providers. You will oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, and coordination with pharmacy and specialty care teams.

You will supervise clerical and clinical personnel, ensure compliance, manage finances, and maintain records for OSHA, CDC, PCMH, and other programs while driving quality and patient care in a fiscally responsible manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3–5 years of related experience, including clinical management and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One or more years’ experience in physician practice management. Three years of supervisory experience. Three years of ambulatory care experience.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of medical office software and updating patient demographic information, posting charges and copays.
• Requires excellent verbal communication skills, ability to handle changing priorities, strong organizational, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and ability to interact with individuals of all cultures while maintaining confidentiality.
• Basic medical terminology understood or obtained through formal classes or work experience.
• Proficiency in use of computer software utilized in practice

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day business is handled according to office and medical guidelines.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with departments and staff including Medical/Dental Director, Senior Management, Nursing, Business Office, Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Pharmacy, and Behavioral Health.
• Hire, train, supervise, evaluate and discipline staff.
• Monitor staff schedules and coverage.
• Maintain updated records such as OSHA, PHS, CDC, PCMH and oversee property records as needed.
