Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Administrator, Practice Operations within Gastroenterology at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The role provides strategic operational leadership for administrative, financial, regulatory, quality, HR, patient and staff satisfaction across a complex practice with multiple locations.

Responsibilities include directing patient scheduling and services, coordinating care, and ensuring efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts or Science (Required)
• 7+ years relevant experience, including at least 5 years prior management experience in a healthcare setting. Degrees may be considered in lieu of total experience. In lieu of completion of an Associate’s degree, candidates with 11+ years of total experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Internal Relationships: Regularly meets with employees to improve communication and to build productive relationships. Solicits feedback on how to improve performance and provides constructive feedback.
• External Relationships: Customer relations - spends time with staff, physicians, patients, and families to understand needs and expectations, to build relationships, and to gauge satisfaction.
• Finance and Operational Leadership: Supports budgeting, financial performance, and operational planning for the practice.
• Regulatory Compliance and Change Management: Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and leads change management strategies within the practice.
