Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group seeks a Practice Manager to oversee clinical and administrative aspects of the practice(s), including profitability, revenue goals and CORE metrics. You will ensure quality of care, customer and staff satisfaction, and access for patients.

You will direct operations, drive process improvements, manage staffing and scheduling, and collaborate with leadership to implement the CORE Work plan while promoting a patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Practice Management Certification or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a medical office.
• Direct supervisory experience of non-exempt staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs the internal practice operations; creates benchmarks, tracks and reports progress.
• Researches process improvements/efficiencies and implements changes.
• Works with the SMD, providers and practice management to develop vision and direction and implement and manage the CORE Work plan.
• Provides suggestions to continually improve processes and the customer experience.
• Assists with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintains scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluates the performance of staff, recommends promotions and disciplinary action.
• Ensures that the practice maintains a physician documentation and coding audit program.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
