Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee clinical and administrative aspects of the practice(s), driving profitability, performance and access for patients in Southeast Michigan.

The role directs daily operations, leads recruitment and staff development, and ensures quality measures and audits are in place. Join a mission-driven team delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1-2+ years relevant work experience.
• Practice Management Certification or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in leadership with supervising non-exempt staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs internal practice operations; creates benchmarks, tracks and reports progress.
• Researches process improvements/efficiencies and recommends and implements changes.
• Works with the SMD, providers and practice management to develop vision and direction and implement and manage the CORE Work plan.
• Provides suggestions to continually improve processes and the customer experience.
• Assists with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintains scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluates the performance of staff, recommends promotions and disciplinary action.
• Ensures that the practice maintains a physician documentation and coding audit program.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
