Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in California seeks a Practice Manager to oversee OB/GYN West Arbor and OB/GYN Chelsea, ensuring clinical quality, customer and staff satisfaction, productivity and revenue goals. You’ll lead operations, recruit and coach staff, and drive access to care while upholding CORE metrics.

Education preferred includes a bachelor’s degree with 1–2+ years of relevant experience; certification in Practice Management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Practice Management Certification or related certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in leadership with direct supervision of non-exempt staff.

• Ensures physician documentation and coding audit program is maintained.
• Supports quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Practice Manager to oversee the clinical and administrative aspects of the practice(s), including practice profitability, revenue goals and CORE metrics. This includes accountability for clinical quality of care, customer satisfaction, staff satisfaction, productivity, revenue enhancement, managed care performance, staff leadership and assuring adequate access for patients.

What You'll Do:

• Directs the internal practice operations; creates benchmarks, tracks and reports progress.
• Researches process improvements/efficiencies and recommends and implements changes.
• Works with the SMD, providers and practice management to develop vision and direction and implement and manage the CORE Work plan.
• Provides suggestions to continually improve processes and the customer experience.
• Assists with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training and coaching of staff.
• Maintains scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluates the performance of staff, recommends promotions and disciplinary action.
• Ensures that the practice maintains a physician documentation and coding audit program.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.

General Requirements:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is preferred with a combination of 1-2 or more years’ relevant work experience.

CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Practice Management Certification or other relevant certifications preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Prior leadership experience in a medical office environment or other relevant professional experience: requires a minimum of 2years in combination with meeting education requirements. Two years of experience directly supervising non-exempt staff is require; however, may consider leadership role in lieu of direct supervision as equivalent experience.
