Job summary

Wood River Health in Hope Valley, RI is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the health center, overseeing front desk, patient access, and appointment scheduling, reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations.

The role emphasizes staff supervision, process improvement, and ensuring a positive patient experience while maintaining compliance with licensing and PCMH standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of Patient Centered Medical Home, preferred.
• NextGen EMR experience, preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk operations and patient access.
• Manage appointment scheduling and provider templates.
• Supervise staff and coordinate cross-department workflows.
• Ensure policy compliance and quality improvement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related discipline
