You will perform essential clinical duties such as taking vitals, assisting with procedures, administering vaccines to patients 13 and older, and supporting administrative tasks in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree or medical assisting certification preferred.
• Experience in health care setting, community health center preferred.
• Knowledge of referral processes and insurance preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Electronic Health Record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and keep rooms neat and clean.
• Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or test results in the EHR.
• Administer vaccines to patients 13+ years old using the 5 Rights of Medication Administration.
• Assist with referrals and coordinate with in‑house or community services.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate’s degree or medical assisting certification

Healthcare setting experience

Knowledge of referral processes and insurance

Medical terminology knowledge

Electronic Health Record experience

MS Office Suite, Internet and email
