Job summary

The Iowa Clinic invites applications for a Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple sites in Central Iowa. You’ll partner with physicians and administrative directors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include hiring and supervising staff, coordinating operations, planning strategically, and maintaining a professional image for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or health care related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years previous supervisory experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages, coordinates and directs the overall operational activities of assigned department(s) including multiple site locations.
• Works closely with the physicians and administrative directors in assuming accountability for maintaining high-quality cost-effective services.
• Hires, orients, supervises, evaluates performance, disciplines and terminates staff.
• Maintains awareness of applicable laws and/or regulations affecting the clinic and assures compliance.
• Participates in strategic and long-range planning.
• Promotes a positive, professional image of the organization internally and externally.
