Job summary

The Iowa Clinic in Central Iowa is seeking a Practice Manager to lead operational activities across departments and locations. You will collaborate with physicians and administrative directors to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care that aligns with clinic standards.

You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in strategic planning while promoting a professional image and fostering staff development across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or health care related field.
• 5 years previous supervisory experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages, coordinates and directs the overall operational activities of assigned department(s) including multiple site locations.
• Works closely with the physicians and administrative directors in assuming accountability for maintaining high-quality cost-effective services.
• Hires, orients, supervises, evaluates performance, disciplines and terminates staff.
• Maintains awareness of applicable laws and/or regulations affecting the clinic and assures compliance.
• Participates in strategic and long-range planning.
• Promotes a positive, professional image of the organization internally and externally.
