Sentara Cardiology Specialists Port Warwick in Newport News, VA is expanding and seeks a Full Time Practice Manager III to lead clinic operations and staff in a dynamic ambulatory care setting.

You will partner with clinical leadership to ensure quality patient care, financial performance, and regulatory compliance across one or more clinics with 25+ staff members. Strong leadership and healthcare operations experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare management.
• 3+ years supervisory and leadership experience in ambulatory care or similar.
• Experience managing operations for clinics with 25+ staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient and effective operations of one or more clinics/practices.
• Supervise staff and provide oversight of customer service, budget, risk management and compliance.

Clinic Hours

Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Overview

The Practice Manager III partners with clinical leadership in dyad model to ensure the efficient and effective operations of one or more clinics/practices with 25 or more staff members and/or complexity operations score 3 for hospital or office based specialties. Provides overall supervision of staff and oversight of all aspects of operations including customer service, budget, risk management, and compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations, and standards of care. Accountable for personally monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team member performance.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• 7 years Practice Manager experience is acceptable in lieu of bachelor’s degree

Experience

• Healthcare - 3 years (Required)
• Supervisory - 3 years (Required)
• Clinical experience and leadership experience in ambulatory care environment (Preferred)
