Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Practice Manager II to direct, supervise and coordinate daily activities of a Physician Practice across multiple locations and specialties.

The role typically oversees 10–25 providers and may manage Practice Manager I or Supervisors at designated sites. Responsibilities include policy development, staff performance, and collaboration with regional leaders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of experience in a Physician Practice or Healthcare setting.
• Understanding of teamwork in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to use office calendaring software and general office tools.
• Knowledge of customer support policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with coworkers, visitors, and staff per LVHN values.
• Supervises Physician Practice operations to ensure prompt and courteous patient care.
• Contributes to policy/procedure development with upper management.
• Manages personnel issues including training, performance management and discipline.
• Participates in hiring decisions for designated office locations.
• Addresses providers’ needs and escalates issues to regional leadership when needed.
• Conducts annual performance appraisals of support staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
