Job summary

Merrimack College is seeking an experienced Practice Manager for the Office of Counseling and Wellness Education to ensure smooth daily operations, manage student visits, and support clinicians with scheduling and documentation.

This on-campus role requires strong organizational skills, privacy compliance, and proficiency with Medicat, Cobblestone, and Microsoft tools. You will help plan events and coordinate Telehealth spaces while assisting onboarding of staff and interns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above.
• Maintain student privacy and manage patient records.
• Exercise good judgment and work independently.
• Professional Clinical Medical Assistant knowledge.
• Interpersonal skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Knowledge of Medicat, Cobblestone and J-1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility day-to-day operations and handle calls, faxes, and emails.
• Schedule clinical visits and scan forms into Medicat; release records as needed.
• Plan and support campus events sponsored by the Office of Counseling and Wellness Education.
• Utilize Medicat, Cobblestone, Adobe Sign, J-1, Microsoft Excel, Google Drive and related software.
• Monitor communications and keep the website data accurate and current.
• Assist onboarding of new staff, fellows and interns.
• Schedule Telehealth Room appointments and manage space for confidential sessions.
• Participate in campus events and staff meetings.
