Generations Family Health Center in Norwich, CT is seeking a Practice Manager to lead site operations, staff, and patient access in a busy ambulatory setting. You will partner with the Director of Primary Care Operations and Outreach, support clinicians, manage revenue cycle, and drive quality, safety, and readiness across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• At least 3 years of ambulatory health care operations experience with supervisory duties.
• Experience with staff supervision, scheduling, patient flow and performance improvement.
• Proficiency with EHR and practice-management systems; knowledge of FQHC/HRSA/PCMH standards preferred.

In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School-Based Health Centers.POSITION SUMMARY:The Practice Manager is the site-based operational leader accountable for the day-to-day performance, coordination, and readiness of the assigned ancillary site. The position provides administrative leadership to assigned staff; supports clinicians and clinical leaders; and promotes safe, efficient, patient-centered, and compliant operations. The site currently provides medical services and may add other clinical, enabling, or support services as organizational needs evolve.The Practice Manager reports to the Director of Primary Care Operations and Outreach and works in close partnership with the Director of Nursing and Site Medical Director. The position also collaborates with other site, service-line, and organizational leaders whose functions support or influence site operations.
