Job summary

Generations Family Health Center seeks a Billing Manager to oversee the full revenue cycle for medical, dental, and behavioral health services across GFHC sites. You will coordinate data entry, insurance contract adherence, patient billing, and AR follow-up while ensuring excellent customer service and timely reimbursement.

You will report to the Director of Patient Revenue and liaise with clinical leadership, Informatics, and other departments to address denial trends and workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum two years in management/supervisory role.
• At least four years in medical billing and collections.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare programs.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and medical coding.
• Experience with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) coding a plus.
• Ability to manage electronic health records and billing data systems.

In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers.JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Patient Revenue, the Billing Manger oversees and coordinates all functions of the medical, dental, and behavioral health billing and revenue cycle for all GFHC sites. Manages data entry, collection, insurance contract adherence, patient billing, correspondence, compliance, refunding/credit balances and AR follow-up and analysis. Promotes and maintains exceptional customer service while supporting timely reimbursement, active claim follow-up, effective accounts receivable management, clear interdepartmental communication, revenue-cycle performance, and collaboration with the Coding and Credentialing Manager. The position also provides coverage and operational support for the Coding and Credentialing Manager as needed.The Billing Manager acts as a liaison between Patient Revenue, clinicians, Informatics, clinical leadership, and other departments regarding claim denial trends, billed-visit write-offs, payer and insurance plan changes, and front-end revenue-cycle issues.
