We’re partnered with a nationally respected executive search firm seeking a Practice Leader to grow its Supply Chain & Operations practice.

This is a 360 search role for an experienced producer who can win business, advise clients, and execute retained and contingent searches. You’ll have the autonomy to develop your practice, supported by dedicated marketing, research, technology, and experienced leadership.

Practice Focus

The practice recruits strategic technical professionals through senior leadership across Supply Chain & Operations. Representative searches include:

• Supply Chain: Strategic sourcing and procurement, planning and S&OP, logistics and distribution, and Director / VP of Supply Chain
• Operations: Operational excellence, continuous improvement, plant and multi-site leadership, VP of Operations, and Chief Operating Officer

Searches support private, public, and private equity-backed businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and expand existing accounts within Supply Chain & Operations
• Own the full search cycle, from business development and intake through candidate assessment, offer negotiation, and placement
• Lead retained and contingent searches for strategic technical and leadership positions
• Advise clients on talent availability, compensation, search strategy, and hiring decisions
• Build relationships with high-performing candidates and senior industry leaders
• Partner with internal marketing and research teams to strengthen outreach and search execution
• Drive practice revenue while maintaining high standards for candidate quality and client service
• Optionally hire, mentor, and lead a team as the practice grows

Requirements

• Proven experience in agency or executive search focused on Supply Chain & Operations, or closely related technical functions
• Exclusively or primarily direct hire search experience
• Demonstrated annual search billings of $500K+
• Success developing client relationships, winning search engagements, and managing full-cycle searches
• Experience placing strategic technical professionals and senior leaders
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment and take ownership of practice growth
