Client Partner | Retained Executive Search

Location: Fully remote, U.S.

A growing international retained executive search firm is expanding its U.S. business and seeking a Client Partner to develop client relationships and help build a practice.

This is a full-desk role combining business development, client management, and search delivery, with support from an established international team. Searches focus on Director through C-suite appointments, with average fees around $60K–$70K.

Key Responsibilities

• Win new business and grow a client portfolio.
• Build relationships with senior executives and hiring leaders.
• Lead retained searches from the initial brief through placement.
• Partner with the delivery team to identify and assess candidates.
• Help shape the direction and growth of your practice.

Consumer / Food & Beverage, Industrials / Manufacturing, Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals, Aerospace & Defense, Chemicals & Processes, and Logistics & Transportation.

Functional coverage includes Engineering, Manufacturing & Operations, Procurement & Supply Chain, Commercial, HR, and Finance.

What We’re Looking For

• Full-desk direct-hire recruiting experience within at least one relevant sector.
• A strong business development track record, ideally billing $400K+ annually.
• Ability to build senior client relationships and manage searches through completion.
• Experience in retained search or high-end contingency recruitment, with an interest in transitioning into retained work.
• $100K–$150K true base salary, not a draw.
• 40% commission
