Job summary

Toole Design Group seeks an experienced transportation professional to lead its integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning practice in Seattle, WA. This senior leadership role combines practice leadership with active project delivery, reporting to the Engineering Director while collaborating with Design and Planning Directors.

The role can be located in several U.S. offices with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in transportation engineering and multimodal planning.
• Proven leadership of integrated teams, programs, and projects.
• Experience in business development and client development.
• PE preferred; PTOE and/or AICP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning practice.
• Drive business development and growth targets in partnership with regional leadership.
• Guide technical direction and maintain high-quality project delivery.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop staff; oversee project delivery and client relationships.
• Raise the practice's visibility through strategic marketing and relationships.
