An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Practice Coordinator to support hospital operations and ensure efficient administrative processes. The Practice Coordinator supports and maintains the practice administratively and operationally. Administratively, they assist the TH Hospital Medicine (THHM) Facility Medical Director, VP of Client Service, Regional Medical Director, and staff, working with hospital administration to meet all needs. Operationally, they identify and account for each hospital patient seen by hospitalist physicians, manage medical records for billing, and report key data for dashboards. They are expected to perform to productivity standards and meet target goals as outlined by their supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of medical record processes, with at least one year of experience in a hospital or physician office setting, understanding patient registration and medical documents. Clerical and reconciliation skills, with the ability to maintain records.
This remote position requires independent work, with responsibilities including reporting to management and maintaining a shipping schedule. Work involves prolonged sitting, standing, and use of office equipment, with occasional lifting and phone work. Overtime and additional hours may be required.
